Danielle Romerill - Irish Tatler Women of The Year Awards - Fashion

Congratulations  to  LSAD  Graduate  Danielle  Romerill  who  has  recieved  an  Irish Tatler Award  in  recognition  of  her  success  having  launched  her  own  label  in  2013. She  has  since  received  much  coveted  NEWGEN  sponsorship  and  shows  her  work  at  London Fashion Week.

Helen Bullock - Visiting Lecturer

The  Fashion Department  were  delighted  to  welcome  London  based  Designer / Illustrator  Helen Bullock  to  present  her  work  to  staff  and  students  yesterday. She  spoke  about  her  time  at Central  St. Martins  as  a  BA  and  MA  student, and  the  variety  of  work  she  has  produced  since her  graduation. She  then  went  on  to  do  an  intensive  drawing  and  illustration  workshop  with 4th  years.

Graduate Fashion Week 2015

Staff  from  LSAD  Fashion  Department, Anne Melinn, Siobhan Hanley, Michelle Molloy  and Gillian  Fitzgibbon  travelled  to  London  in  May  to  participate  in   Graduate Fashion Week. This is  our  third  year  showing  here  and  provides  an  excellent  platform to  showcase the  work  of  LSAD  Fashion  graduates, and  for  staff  and  students  to  network  with  other   education  and  industry  professionals.

Official opening of Primark's newly redeveloped headquarters

LSAD  Fashion  Course  Leader  Anne  Melinn  attended  the  official  opening  of  Primark's International  Headquarters  in  Dublin  yesterday.

UNFOLD - Irish Designers Collective at London Fashion Week

LSAD  Fashion  Graduates  Natalie  B.Coleman  and  Laura  Kinsella  selected  to  participate  in UNFOLD  

On the 18th and 19th of September, ID2015 will present eleven designers in Unfold: Irish Designers Collective at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, as an official on-schedule event as part of London Fashion Week. 

London Fashion Week is one of the world’s highest profile designer showcases, presenting a key opportunity to increase the profile of Irish fashion designers and develop their businesses through exposure to an international audience of media and buyers. The 11 designers unveiling their SS16 collections as part of Unfold at the ICA are: NATALIEBCOLEMAN, We Are Islanders, Manley, 
Jill de Burca, Helen Steele, Honor Fitzsimons,Chupi, dorai, Laura Kinsella, Martha Lynn and Capulet & Montague. 

' Winner of the Golden Egg Innovation Award for Designer of the Year 2012, NATALIEBCOLEMAN studied fashion at Limerick School of Art & Design and on the MA course at Central St. Martins in London.'
