LSAD Graduate Fashion Show 2016

The  LSAD  Graduate  Fashion  Show  2016  is  fast  approaching.  27  4th   years  will  present  their collections  in  the  Gallery  at  Limerick  School  of  Art  and  Design  on  Thursday  12th  May, 8pm.

Kildare Village Fashion Bursary Recipient - Michael Stewart

Congratulations  to  LSAD  Fashion  graduate  Michael  Stewart  on  becoming  the  first  recipient of the Kildare  Village  Fashion  Bursary. The  bursary  which  is  worth  €15,000, will  be  used  to support  Michael  during  his  time  at  the  Royal  College  of  Art  in  London, where  he  is currently studying  for  a  Masters  in  Womenswear. A  selection  of  his  work  is  currently  on  display  at Kildare  Village.

Persil Winner!

Huge  Congratulations  to  Niamh  Mannion  on  winning  the  Persil  Award  for  2016. Niamh  walks away  with  € 10,000  in  prize  money  to  further  her  career  in  the  Fashion  Industry. A  graduate of  2015, Niamh  is  currently  working  in  New  York. We  are  very  proud  of  her  success  and wish  her  the  best  of  luck  in  her future  career.

Irish Fashion Innovation Awards - 2016

Three  of  our  current  4th  Years  have  been  selected  to  participate  in  the  Fashion  Innovation Awards - Student  Designer  of  the  Year  category;
Mara  Kuvika, Isabella  Balikoeva  and  Sarah  Kate  Spillane.

We  also  have  a  number  of  graduates  in  other  award  categories;

The  show  is  taking  place  in  the  Radisson  Blu  Hotel, Galway  on  Thursday  10th  March.
